Message to parents

Dear families

As you may be aware Week 1 Term 3 will start with Learning from Home, and we are currently undertaking our planning for this transition. Macarthur Girls High School is well positioned to move to our Learning from Home model whilst maintaining each student’s learning continuity. As in 2020, the school will deliver our teaching and learning programs through Google Classrooms as per scheduled timetables. Please note, students in Year 7 – 10 may have a modified semester two timetable as they change some courses such as History and Geography.

Our 2021 Year 12 students remain a priority with only 1 term left of their studies. The NSW Department of Education and NESA are working together to ensure no one is disadvantaged. We must remain optimistic, adaptable and on-task.

Arrangements and additional information and communication will be sent to families on Monday 12 July 2021. Thank you for your patience and understanding. Stay safe and we will be in contact with more details on Monday which is a School Development Day for staff.  School resumes for students on Tuesday 13 July.
