On Thursday the 22nd of February a selected group of Macarthur Girls ranging from Years 9-12 competed in a touch football knockout against Cammaraygal High School. The ladies have been giving up their lunch times and training hard to perfect their skills and fitness.
Cammaraygal came out with a fierce opener, scoring within the first set. Macarthur did not let this affect their game plan. The girls showed great sportsmanship and team work. Macarthur scored 3 tries in the first half and 3 in the second to come away with the win. The girls pushed through the fast pace of the game and encouraged both each other and their opponents throughout. They move on to the second round and will play again on March 16. Good luck ladies!!!
